OPay has launched a brand campaign titled OPay is Okay to reinforce customer confidence in its digital financial services and highlight its focus on security, reliability and transparency.
The company said the campaign responds to growing public concern about online fraud, misinformation and digital scams. It added that trust in financial technology must be built through consistent service rather than promotional promises.
OPay noted that digital platforms have changed how Nigerians transfer money, pay bills, save and manage businesses. However, it said the continued expansion of the sector depends on customers knowing that their funds and transactions are protected.
The company’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer, Dotun Adekunle, said technology alone was not enough to sustain a financial service. Customers, he said, must be confident that their money is secure and that the platform will remain dependable whenever it is needed.
OPay said millions of Nigerians use its services to receive salaries, make payments, transfer funds and conduct business transactions. It added that its nationwide agent network and continuing investment in security infrastructure support millions of successful transactions each day.
Chief Commercial Officer Elizabeth Wang described the campaign as a reflection of the relationship the company has built with customers, merchants and agents. She said every completed transaction and every business supported strengthens that relationship.
Founded in 2018, OPay offers transfers, bill payments, airtime and data purchases, card services and merchant payment solutions. The company said it is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and that customer deposits are insured by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation under applicable coverage.
