A political support platform known as the OK Movement, which backs the presidential ticket of Peter Obi and running mate Rabiu Kwankwaso, has appointed former Inter Party Advisory Council chairman High Chief Peter Ameh as its National Director General.
National Convener Hon. Jackie Wayas said the steering committee reached the decision unanimously, citing Ameh’s extensive background in politics, governance and electoral reform advocacy. The group said his leadership would help expand its grassroots structures and mobilization efforts ahead of the 2027 general election.
The movement described itself as part of an emerging network of political platforms encouraging cooperation among supporters of Obi and Kwankwaso, with a broader goal of strengthening democratic participation and accountable governance.
