Katsina Governor’s Aide Denies Rift Between Radda and Masari

Abdulaziz Maituraka, Special Assistant to Governor Dikko Umaru Radda on Public Enlightenment, has dismissed speculation of a disagreement between the governor and former Katsina governor Aminu Bello Masari.

Maituraka refuted the claim in Katsina while distributing N4 million, crates of eggs and cartons of noodles to tea vendors and APC officials across 11 wards of Katsina Local Government Area, amid talk linking the supposed rift to the 2027 election.

A close ally of Masari, he described the relationship between the two leaders as cordial and rooted in a shared commitment to the development of the state.

Addressing beneficiaries, state APC Chairman Bishir Gambo Saulawa commended Maituraka for consistently empowering people and urged other elected officials to do the same, arguing that people needed support to cope with current economic hardship rather than empowerment only on the eve of elections.
