Bala Mohammed, APM Unveil Governorship Ticket Ahead of 2027 Elections

Governor Bala Mohammed has joined stakeholders and supporters of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) in Bauchi State as the party intensified preparations for the 2027 general elections.

At a political gathering attended by party members and associates from across the state, the APM officially unveiled Yakubu Adamu as its governorship candidate and Mahmood Babamaji Abubakar as his running mate.

The event also saw Bala Mohammed formally presented as the party’s senatorial candidate for Bauchi South.

Speaking during the occasion, the governor described the development as a major step toward strengthening unity within the party and broadening its support base ahead of the next general elections.

According to him, the move demonstrates the party’s commitment to building a stronger political structure capable of securing victory in 2027.

In his remarks, Yakubu Adamu pledged to sustain and expand ongoing developmental initiatives in Bauchi State if elected governor.

He stressed the importance of inclusive leadership, continuity in governance, and stronger collaboration among party members.

Adamu also appealed to former aspirants and supporters to put aside political differences and unite behind the party’s collective vision for the state.

He promised to prioritise infrastructure development, economic growth, youth empowerment, and social welfare programmes aimed at improving the living conditions of residents.

Bala Mohammed, meanwhile, expressed appreciation to party loyalists for their continued support and dedication to the APM.

He urged members to remain committed to the party and its candidates as preparations continue for the 2027 elections.
