NDLEA Says Interior Ministry Recruits Must Not Pay for Drug Integrity Tests

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has told applicants entering four agencies under the Federal Ministry of Interior that they are not required to pay for the mandatory Drug Integrity Test.

NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi said the ministry had already made a bulk payment covering the exercise for recruits into the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

Candidates are expected to access the NDLEA testing platform through links supplied on the relevant agencies’ official recruitment portals, complete the required documentation and follow the designated testing arrangements.

The agency warned applicants not to transfer money to individuals, purported officials or testing centers in connection with the exercise. The clarification is intended to prevent duplicate charges and recruitment-related fraud.
