Nigerian Air Force Graduates 30 Air Traffic Control Assistants in Kaduna

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has graduated 30 Airmen and Airwomen from the Basic Air Traffic Control Assistant (ATCA) Course 24/2026 following the successful completion of training at the Air Traffic Services Training Centre (ATSTC), Kaduna.

The course, which commenced on June 15, 2026, combined classroom instruction, practical exercises and continuous assessments aimed at equipping participants with critical competencies in air traffic services.

The graduates recorded a 100 per cent pass rate, with an impressive overall class average of 82.6 per cent.

Their training covered key areas including Air Traffic Management, Navigation, Meteorology, Communications, Aeronautical Information Services and Radio/Radar Procedures. Participants also undertook educational visits to the 401 Flying Training School and Hassan Usman Katsina International Airport.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony, the Commandant of ATSTC, Air Vice Marshal N.B. Folaji, urged the graduates to maintain high standards of diligence, discipline and teamwork as they progress in their careers.

The newly certified Air Traffic Control Assistants will proceed to operational units across the country for further hands-on training and practical application of their skills in support of Nigerian Air Force operations.
