The African Democratic Congress has unveiled a governance and ethics framework for public office holders elected on its platform in the 2027 general election.
The document, known as The Orange Book, sets out standards the party says will guide the behaviour of its elected representatives.
National Chairman David Mark and National Secretary Rauf Aregbesola said the framework was intended to promote public service, accountability and responsible leadership.
The party said the initiative responded to public dissatisfaction with corruption, weak institutions and unfulfilled political promises.
ADC officials said elected representatives would be expected to demonstrate personal discipline, service and greater accountability to citizens.
The party described the document as part of an effort to build a new relationship between political leaders and the electorate.
National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi said the ADC wanted to distinguish itself through internal discipline and measurable standards for office holders.
The party said The Orange Book would serve as a reference for assessing the conduct of officials elected under its banner.
It also presented the initiative as part of a broader effort to position the ADC as an alternative ahead of the 2027 election.
