50 Cent, Nelly, The Chainsmokers to Headline Sports Illustrated World Cup Concert Series

American rappers 50 Cent and Nelly, alongside electronic music duo The Chainsmokers, are set to headline a new four-city World Cup concert series organised by Sports Illustrated this summer.

The concert series, titled “SI Beyond the Pitch,” will feature live performances and VIP fan experiences across Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami, and New York City during the global football tournament.

Additional performances will include Diplo and Gordo.

According to organisers, the series will kick off on June 12 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, with Nelly headlining the opening show.

Dallas will host the next event on June 20 at SILO, featuring Gordo, while Miami’s June 26 concert at DAER will showcase The Chainsmokers.

The series will conclude on July 18 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York, where 50 Cent and Diplo are scheduled to perform.

The initiative represents one of Sports Illustrated’s biggest expansions into live entertainment and fan-focused experiences surrounding major sporting events.

Joe Silberzweig, founder and CEO of Medium Rare, described the tournament as “the most significant sporting event of a generation to hit American soil.”

The announcement follows the success of SI The Party during the Super Bowl weekend earlier this year, which featured performances from The Chainsmokers and Ludacris, alongside appearances by celebrities including Justin Bieber, Travis Kelce and Ciara.
