Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday received the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, Olohundare Jimoh Moshood, during a courtesy visit at Lagos House in Ikeja.
The Zone 2 Command of the Nigeria Police Force oversees police operations in Lagos State and Ogun State.
Speaking after the meeting, Governor Sanwo-Olu said discussions focused on strengthening security collaboration and sustaining peace and public safety across Lagos State.
The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting security agencies in maintaining law and order, protecting lives and property, and enhancing the overall safety of residents.
The meeting also underscored ongoing efforts by the Lagos State Government and security authorities to improve coordination in tackling crime and ensuring stability within the state.
