Peter Okoye: “Jude called your son a bastard and you didn’t break his teeth; I’m disappointed” — Ossai Ovie

Delta State Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Media, Ossai Ovie Success, has criticised Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Peter PSquare, over his handling of the ongoing family dispute involving his twin brother, Paul Okoye.

Ossai expressed disappointment in Peter over an alleged incident in which their elder brother, Jude Okoye, reportedly referred to Peter’s five-month-old son as a “bastard.”

In a post shared on social media, Ossai questioned why Peter did not react more strongly to the alleged insult, stressing that parents are expected to protect their children, particularly when such comments come from a family member.

Ossai questions Peter’s reaction

According to Ossai, Peter should have taken the alleged remark more seriously and confronted Jude over the comment.

He said he was particularly disappointed that Peter appeared not to have responded forcefully after his son was allegedly insulted.

“I am disappointed in Peter, I will tell you guys why. Your elder brother called your son a bastard and you didn’t ensure one of his teeth got broken.”

Ossai’s comments come amid renewed public attention on the long-running family disagreements surrounding the Okoye brothers and their elder brother, Jude.

The dispute has continued to generate reactions on social media, with fans and public figures weighing in on the strained relationship between members of the Okoye family.

Peter and Paul, who achieved widespread fame as PSquare, have had a turbulent relationship in recent years, with their disagreements occasionally spilling into the public space.

The latest controversy has again triggered debate among fans over family loyalty, parental responsibility and the extent to which private disputes involving celebrities should be made public.
