Hayatu-Deen Meets Rhodes-Vivour, Discusses Youth Inclusion and ADC’s Future

Presidential aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, has held talks with Lagos politician and youth advocate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, on the future of the party and the role of young Nigerians in governance.

Hayatu-Deen disclosed this following a meeting with Rhodes-Vivour, popularly known as GRV, where both politicians discussed issues surrounding youth participation, innovation, leadership, and national development.

According to Hayatu-Deen, the discussions focused on the need for a new direction in governance and the importance of empowering young people to take active roles in shaping Nigeria’s future.

“It was a pleasure meeting with Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, a passionate voice for youth inclusion, innovation, and a new direction for leadership in Lagos and across Nigeria,” he said.

The ADC presidential hopeful noted that both leaders share a common commitment to progress, unity, and national development through the platform of the ADC.

He added that the rebuilding of Nigeria would require collective efforts from citizens across different generations and political interests.

“We had meaningful conversations around the future of the ADC, the role of young people in shaping governance, and the collective responsibility we share in building a nation that works for everyone,” Hayatu-Deen stated.

He further stressed the need for collaboration among political stakeholders and citizens to address the country’s socio-economic and governance challenges.

“Nigeria must work again, and it will take all of us,” he added.

The meeting comes amid growing political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections, with opposition parties intensifying consultations and coalition-building efforts across the country.
