Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, on sunday received the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Femi Hamzat, and his delegation during a consultative visit over his reported governorship ambition.
The meeting, described as part of ongoing political consultations, focused on discussions around leadership, governance, and the future development of Lagos State.
Gbajabiamila, in a statement following the engagement, said Hamzat’s capacity and experience were evident, noting that conversations would continue on strategies to sustain and build on the achievements of previous administrations in the state.
He emphasised the importance of continuity in governance, stressing the need to consolidate existing progress while exploring new ideas to drive Lagos’ growth and development.
The visit comes amid increasing political consultations and alignments ahead of future electoral contests in the state.
