Flora Egbedi and Amyr Yousufzai, popularly known as Flora and Aikou, have secured automatic places in the grand finale of Big Brother Naija Season 11 after emerging as winners of the show’s newly introduced “The Gambit” twist.
The duo was announced on Sunday during what contestants and viewers had anticipated would be the first live eviction show of the season. Instead of an eviction, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu unveiled the results of the public vote, which determined one male and one female housemate to advance directly to the season finale.
Despite earning guaranteed spots in the final, Flora and Aikou will not be eligible to compete for the show’s ₦160 million grand prize, making them immune from eviction but excluded from the final prize contest.
Flora, an entrepreneur, has become known in the house for her outspoken personality and creative flair. She has a passion for travelling, dancing, cooking, storytelling, content creation and beauty.
Aikou, whose real name is Amyr Yousufzai, is a backend developer recognised for his calm and reserved disposition. He has described himself as an avid reader and writer, noting that his quiet nature is often mistaken for emotional distance.
As The Gambit housemates, Flora and Aikou will continue to participate fully in all tasks, challenges and activities in the Big Brother Naija house while enjoying immunity from eviction until the season finale. However, they remain ineligible to win the competition’s top prize under the rules of the twist.
