Federal High Court Announces Redeployment of Judges Across Judicial Divisions

The Federal High Court has announced a fresh posting schedule involving newly appointed and serving judges across various judicial divisions in the country.

The redeployment, approved by the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, John Terhemba Tsoho, follows the recent appointment of 14 new judges and the reposting of three existing judges.

According to a statement issued on Thursday by the Director of Information of the Federal High Court, Catherine Oby Christopher, all affected judges are expected to assume duty at their new stations on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

Under the new postings, Justice Hassan Dikko was assigned to the Gusau Judicial Division in Zamfara State, while Justices Salim Olasupo Ibrahim and Onah Chigozie Sergius were posted to Abuja.

Justice Sulaiman Amida Hassan was deployed to Osogbo in Osun State, while Justice Muhammad Barau Saidu was posted to Minna, Niger State.

Other postings include Justice Igboko Chinelo Conchita to Akure, Ondo State; Justice Onuegbu Chioma Angela to Yenagoa, Bayelsa State; and Justice Galumje Edingah to Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

Justice Ibrahim Vera Eneabo was posted to Gombe, while Justice Abubakar Musa Usman will serve in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

The posting schedule also saw Justice Salihu Aisha Yunusa assigned to Damaturu, Yobe State, and Justice Ikpeme Joy Bassey deployed to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Justice Shehu Umaru Adamu was posted to Maiduguri, Borno State, while Justice Mohammed Ibrahim Buba was assigned to Dutse, Jigawa State.

In Lokoja, Kogi State, Justice Binjin-Eigegbe Nendelmum Judith will preside over the judicial division.

Meanwhile, Justices Usoro Kuyik Uduak and Nwoye Osinachi Donatus were posted to the Lagos Judicial Division.

The Federal High Court said the redeployment forms part of efforts to strengthen the administration of justice and improve judicial efficiency across the country.
