Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has inaugurated the New Dynamic Forum, a community-level political organisation designed to mobilise grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing the initiative as a strategic vehicle for consolidating political engagement and communicating government achievements across the state.
The inauguration took place at the Open Mobile Camp Field in Ovwian-Aladja, with the governor represented by his Senior Policy Adviser and State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Funkekeme Solomon, who delivered an address on his behalf and formally declared the forum open.
Oborevwori commended the forum’s convener, S.K. Palama, for his vision and organisational commitment in establishing the platform, describing grassroots initiatives of this nature as powerful demonstrations of structured political engagement at the community level.
He charged members to move beyond ceremonial functions and transform the forum into a genuinely active instrument for mobilisation, sensitisation, and the effective communication of government policies and development achievements to citizens at every level of the state.
The governor directed the forum to extend its organisational reach to every ward in Delta State, with deliberate emphasis on empowering youths and women as critical constituencies in the broader political architecture being built ahead of 2027. He stressed that the forum’s effectiveness would be measured not by the volume of its activities but by the quality of the unity and coordination it achieved among its members.
“As we look ahead to 2027, we must remain united, focused, and committed. True strength lies not in noise but in unity of purpose,” the address read, urging the forum to serve as both a platform for generating ideas and a mechanism for translating those ideas into concrete political action.
Oborevwori reaffirmed Delta State’s alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration, emphasising that continuity of purposeful leadership was essential to sustaining the development momentum the state had built and ensuring that ongoing governance gains were not disrupted by political transitions.
