APC Reopens Nationwide Electronic Membership Registration

The All Progressives Congress has reopened its electronic membership registration exercise nationwide ahead of the 2027 general election.

The party said the exercise began on August 31, 2026 and would take place across all wards.

Existing members are expected to validate their records, while new supporters can register.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number.

APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka said the exercise was designed to digitize the membership register and improve the reliability of party records.

The party also expects the system to make membership data easier to access for planning and management.

APC said electronic registration could support internal democracy by providing clearer information on who was formally registered as a member.

The initiative also forms part of the party’s broader mobilization ahead of the 2027 elections.

The effectiveness of the exercise will depend on access to registration systems, data integrity and successful verification across thousands of wards nationwide.
