Nigeria’s leading airline, Air Peace, has hosted representatives of Dutch Aviation Trainers (DAT) at its corporate headquarters in Lagos as part of efforts to deepen collaboration on pilot training and operational excellence.
The airline disclosed that the engagement focused on enhancing training programmes for its pilots, particularly those operating the Boeing 737 NG fleet.
According to Air Peace, DAT, a globally recognised aviation training organisation specialising in Boeing and Embraer aircraft training, is currently providing training for the airline’s pilots on Embraer E1 and E2 aircraft operations.
The airline said the partnership underscores its commitment to maintaining global best practices and world-class aviation standards across its operations.
Air Peace noted that the collaboration forms part of its broader strategy to invest in safety, operational efficiency, and continuous human capital development within the aviation sector.
The airline added that equipping pilots with advanced technical expertise remains critical to delivering safe and efficient flight operations across its growing domestic and international network.
Air Peace reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening capacity development and aligning its operations with international aviation standards through strategic partnerships and professional training initiatives.
