South East Religious and Community Leaders Declare Support for Tinubu’s 2027 Bid

Religious and community representatives at a political town hall in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, have pledged to mobilize support for President Bola Tinubu’s proposed re election in 2027.

The gathering was organized under an All Progressives Congress campaign mobilization initiative. Speakers praised federal infrastructure projects in the South East and urged residents to consider those investments when deciding how to vote.

Rev. Fr. Abraham Nwali, identified in the supplied report as a leader of the Christian Fellowship of Nigeria in the region, said supporters should recognize the contributions of Tinubu and Works Minister David Umahi. Other speakers, including Uche Charity Ujunwa and youth representative Peter Onyeabor, expressed support for the president’s political ambitions.

Kazeem Bankole and Danjuma Gambo, introduced as leaders of Yoruba and Hausa communities in Ebonyi, also promised to encourage participation and support for APC candidates.

The event demonstrates backing among the participants quoted, but it does not by itself establish a formal endorsement by every Christian Association of Nigeria chapter or all members of the communities named. The precise institutional affiliations and authorization of the endorsements should be checked.
