Dangote Refinery IPO Opens 24-Hour Subscription Through Moniepoint Agents

Prospective investors in the Dangote Petroleum Refinery public offer can now subscribe for shares through participating Moniepoint agents around the clock.

The agency-banking channel is intended to extend the offer beyond traditional investment and banking platforms and make participation easier for retail investors across a wider range of communities.

The shares are priced at N525 each, with a minimum subscription of 10 shares, placing the minimum entry amount at N5,250.

Investors are also allowed to subscribe more than once during the offer period.

Under the arrangement, prospective investors can visit participating Moniepoint agents, complete the approved subscription process and retain transaction receipts as evidence of payment.

Subscription details are also expected to be sent by SMS to the investor’s registered phone number.

The use of agency banking reflects an effort to broaden access to capital-market participation, particularly among Nigerians who may not regularly use stockbroking platforms.

The company has advised prospective investors to consult the offer prospectus for full details and to seek professional advice where necessary.

As with any public offer, allotment is subject to the terms of the transaction, and investment returns are not guaranteed.
