Country singer and model Jessie James Decker has announced plans to have her breast implants removed, saying she wants to embrace a more natural approach to her appearance.
The 38-year-old wife of former NFL star Eric Decker shared the decision in an Instagram video, explaining that changes in her fitness journey have influenced how she feels about her body.
Decker said she is seeking a lifestyle that requires less maintenance and allows her to feel more comfortable and confident in her natural appearance.
She also revealed that motherhood has played a significant role in her decision, particularly her desire to set a positive example for her two-year-old daughter, Denver.
“I want less maintenance in my life and I’m embracing my natural girl era!” Decker said.
She added that having a daughter had made her reflect more deeply on beauty standards and the pressure women can face to maintain a particular appearance.
“I never want her to feel like she has to do all this upkeep to feel beautiful,” she said.
Decker, who has three children, said the decision forms part of a broader personal shift as she focuses on feeling comfortable in her body and simplifying her lifestyle.
