Glo Unveils ‘Never Settle For Less’ Campaign and New Customer Offers

Globacom has introduced a new campaign platform, Never Settle For Less, alongside a range of products and services aimed at increasing value for subscribers.

The telecommunications company unveiled the initiative at its corporate headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos, as it marked its 23rd anniversary.

Globacom said the campaign was intended to encourage Nigerians to pursue better opportunities, higher standards and personal advancement.

Company representative Uche Ogwuda said digital services had become important tools for work, communication and economic progress.

The company used the event to showcase several revised or newly introduced customer offers.

Its Talkmasta 6 for 6 product has been expanded to provide additional data benefits.

Subscribers who meet the required call threshold will continue receiving free call minutes and will now receive 100MB of bonus data instead of the previous 50MB.

Globacom also revised its Welcome Bonus package for new customers.

New subscribers who buy and activate a Glo SIM are expected to receive a combination of call minutes, data and a one month GloTV Premium subscription.

The company also introduced Magic Data Bundle, which combines a guaranteed data allocation with an additional variable bonus.

The product is offered at different price points and allows customers to receive bonus data above the amount purchased.

Glo has also revamped its self service application, Glo Café.

The updated app includes a redesigned interface, additional payment options and new security features.

It also includes Gloria, an artificial intelligence powered voice and text assistant available in English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French and Spanish.

Globacom said the assistant could help customers find offers and resolve basic queries.

The application also carries promotional data and recharge incentives for selected users.

At the launch, invited speakers including fashion entrepreneur Mai Atafo and broadcaster Reuben Abati reflected on career decisions that they associated with the campaign theme.

Globacom said the broader objective was to combine telecommunications, digital tools and customer incentives in ways that supported productivity, convenience and personal development.
