All Progressives Congress governorship candidate Bola Oyebamiji has challenged Governor Ademola Adeleke to account for the state’s federal allocations, claiming the administration had not delivered sufficient results despite receiving an average of about N16 billion monthly.
Oyebamiji said an APC administration would focus during its first 100 days on workers’ welfare, infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, youth development and transparent financial management.
He promised prompt salary and pension payments, stronger support for small businesses and farmers, road rehabilitation and improved public services. He also pledged to promote accountability in the management of state resources.
The claims and proposals form part of the intensifying campaign ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
