Former House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara has appealed to disgruntled All Progressives Congress aspirants in Bauchi State to set aside personal ambitions and unite behind the party ahead of upcoming elections.
Leading a meeting of the APC’s state reconciliation committee, Dogara stressed that party unity should take precedence over individual interests and urged members to rally behind candidates who emerged from the party’s primary process. Aspirants at the meeting welcomed the reconciliation effort and pledged continued support for the party.
