Ekpemupolo Urges Nigerians to Back Tinubu’s Reelection, Cites Progress on Reforms

Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo popularly known  as Tompolo has called on Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu’s reelection bid, arguing that another term would allow the administration to build on economic reforms already underway.

In a statement issued in Abuja through the National Coordinator of the Tinubu Door to Door Movement, Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, Ekpemupolo said the administration’s economic and structural reforms were beginning to show results, pointing to rising foreign investment, growth in the capital market and expanded fiscal autonomy for state and local governments.

He said the reforms are now delivering measurable outcomes reflected in gross domestic product and other economic indicators, and that securing a second term for the president is essential to carrying the reforms through to completion. He called on Nigerians to unite behind the effort, saying the movement plans to reach every household in the country.

Ekpemupolo said the Door to Door Movement would formally inaugurate its national executive members on July 9, 2026, as part of a broader push to deepen grassroots mobilization and civic engagement nationwide.
