Ndokwa Leaders Pass Vote of Confidence in Oborevwori, Pledge Support for Development Agenda

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has received the leadership, elders and stakeholders of Ndokwa Nation at Government House, Asaba, where the delegation expressed confidence in his administration and pledged continued support for his development agenda.

The delegation, led by the Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU), commended the governor for what it described as his commitment to equitable development, infrastructure delivery, accessibility and inclusive governance across Delta State.

Speaking during the visit, the Ndokwa leaders passed a vote of confidence in Oborevwori’s leadership, citing ongoing projects and efforts aimed at improving the welfare of residents and promoting balanced development throughout the state.

The stakeholders also condemned the vandalism of electricity infrastructure in the area, describing the acts as detrimental to economic growth and social development. They reaffirmed their support for initiatives aimed at improving power supply and accelerating development across Ndokwa Nation.

In his response, Governor Oborevwori thanked the delegation for its endorsement and continued support, assuring the people of Ndokwa Nation that his administration would sustain efforts to deliver more development projects to the area.

The governor reiterated his commitment to addressing electricity challenges and enhancing infrastructure development in line with the objectives of his administration’s MORE Agenda.

Oborevwori emphasized that his government remains focused on ensuring that all parts of Delta State benefit from ongoing development programmes, promising that the needs of Ndokwa communities would continue to receive attention.

The visit brought together prominent leaders, elders and stakeholders from Ndokwa Nation, who used the occasion to discuss issues affecting the area and reaffirm their commitment to supporting the state government’s development initiatives.
