US President Donald Trump is scheduled to undergo his annual dental and medical examinations on May 26 at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the White House announced on Monday.
According to a statement released by the White House, the evaluations will form part of the president’s routine preventive healthcare programme.
“This will include the President’s routine annual dental and medical assessments as part of his regular preventive health care,” the statement said.
Trump, who turns 80 next month, has repeatedly maintained that he remains in good physical and mental condition.
The president underwent his second major medical checkup of 2025 in October, after which White House physician Navy Captain Sean Barbabella said tests indicated that Trump’s cardiovascular health was “excellent.”
In a medical note released at the time, Barbabella stated that the president’s “cardiac age” was estimated to be about 14 years younger than his actual age and noted that he continued to maintain a demanding work schedule without restrictions.
Trump also underwent a semi-annual medical evaluation in April.
In recent months, the president has occasionally appeared in public with visible bruising on his right hand, sometimes concealed with makeup. The White House attributed the marks to aspirin medication taken as part of a cardiovascular health regimen.
The administration also disclosed last year that Trump had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency after medical evaluations for swelling in his legs. The condition, which affects blood flow in the veins, is considered common among older adults and can be managed with medication and medical procedures.
