Businessman and former presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, has announced that he has formally collected his nomination form to contest for the presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In a statement, Hayatu-Deen said his decision to seek the party’s ticket was driven by what he described as the urgent need to reposition Nigeria for safety, economic stability, and improved living standards.
“I am running because Nigeria deserves better. And because the ADC is the only vehicle through which we can deliver a safer and prosperous Nigeria,” he said.
He added that his ambition is focused on what he called a “mission to build a better Nigeria,” where citizens can access jobs, experience lower living costs, and live without fear.
Hayatu-Deen said he possesses the experience and track record required to unite the country, secure electoral victory for the ADC, and deliver meaningful reforms if elected president.
He outlined three key priorities of his campaign: uniting Nigeria, securing victory for the ADC, and ensuring economic and security improvements that would translate into national prosperity.
The ADC is expected to intensify internal preparations ahead of its primaries as political activities gradually build momentum toward the next general election cycle.
