inDrive Announces ₦132m Driver Rewards Programme in Lagos and Abuja

Mobility platform inDrive has announced a driver incentive programme valued at more than ₦132 million for eligible participants in Lagos and Abuja, running from October 5 to December 16, 2026.

The company says the campaign will distribute 916 prizes, including two vehicles, four awards covering a full academic year of school fees, 40 smartphones, 40 television sets and 830 shopping vouchers.

According to the announced structure, winners of most prizes will be selected through six live-broadcast draws. The two vehicles are reserved for drivers recording the highest number of completed rides during the campaign period.

Eligibility is tied to reaching the platform’s platinum tier, while completed rides generate entries for qualifying participants. Drivers are advised to review the full rules and conditions in the inDrive app, including any limitations affecting participation or prize collection.

Nigeria Country Manager Timothy Oladimeji said the initiative was designed to recognize drivers and increase the benefits available to them through the service. He linked the rewards to inDrive’s model, under which drivers and passengers negotiate fares.

The company says its app has been downloaded more than 400 million times and that it operates across 47 countries. Those figures are company-reported and were not independently audited for this article.

The campaign arrives as mobility operators compete for drivers and passengers in major Nigerian cities. Its practical value to participants will depend on transparent administration, clear selection procedures and timely delivery of advertised prizes.
