Kogi East Stakeholders Endorse Atiku Abubakar for 2027 Presidential Election

Political leaders and stakeholders from Kogi East Senatorial District have endorsed African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, for the 2027 presidential election.

The endorsement was announced during a solidarity visit by a delegation of political leaders from the district to Atiku’s residence in Abuja on Thursday.

The delegation was led by former Kogi State governorship candidate, Engr. Musa Wada, and the Kogi State ADC Chairman, Hon. Tom Zakari.

Former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Elder Simon Achuba, who spoke on behalf of the group, said the stakeholders visited the former Vice President to reaffirm their support for his candidacy ahead of the January 16 presidential election.

The stakeholders cited growing economic hardship and the rising cost of living faced by residents of the district as key concerns.

They also expressed support for proposals aimed at restoring a production-based subsidy framework for petroleum products, which they believe would help ease economic pressures on Nigerians.

Achuba said the leaders were united in their decision to support Atiku’s presidential ambition, expressing confidence in his ability to address the country’s challenges.
