The Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, has called on the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to sustain efforts aimed at improving the administration of Hajj operations in Nigeria.
The monarch made the appeal during a visit to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NAHCON, Ambassador Ismail Abba Yusuf, in Abuja.
Bamalli commended the commission for ongoing reforms and stressed the importance of strategic planning in managing the annual pilgrimage.
“Hajj is a significant spiritual journey, and the comfort, safety and well-being of our people must remain paramount,” he said.
The Emir pledged the support of traditional institutions in mobilising and sensitising intending pilgrims to ensure a successful exercise.
Responding, Yusuf thanked the Emir for the visit and assured him that the commission remained committed to delivering a seamless and world-class Hajj experience for Nigerian pilgrims.
