Shettima Seeks Northern Creative Industry Support for Tinubu’s Re-Election

Vice President Kashim Shettima has appealed to northern-based creative professionals to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, citing the administration’s commitment to developing the creative economy.

Shettima made the appeal during a meeting with members of Northern Performing Artists under the platform of Triple-R for Renewed Hope at the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign office in Abuja.

The Vice President said the North stands to benefit significantly from government initiatives aimed at promoting culture, entertainment and job creation through the creative sector.

He assured the delegation that the Tinubu administration would continue to implement programmes designed to empower artists, filmmakers and musicians across the region.

Shettima urged members of the group to remain supportive of the administration, maintaining that the benefits of ongoing economic and governance reforms would become more visible in the coming years.

Also speaking, Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, said President Tinubu’s re-election campaign would be anchored on the administration’s achievements and performance record.

Former APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, commended the group for its support and called for greater investment in infrastructure and skills development within the northern entertainment industry.

In his remarks, the President of Triple-R for Renewed Hope, Dauda Kahutu Rarara, reaffirmed the group’s commitment to mobilising support for President Tinubu and APC candidates across the North.
