Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has urged members of Arewa for Asiwaju to intensify grassroots mobilization and political coordination across the North-Central ahead of President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.
Bello, who serves as Deputy National Coordinator for the North-Central in the support group, spoke during a strategic meeting involving state coordinators and regional stakeholders.
He said the organization should focus on integrating grassroots structures and aligning its activities with political leadership across the region.
Bello described the group as a platform for regional political coordination and said he would use his relationships with governors and party leaders to strengthen cooperation between state governments and A4A structures.
He argued that campaign activities should be synchronized to reduce duplication and ensure a consistent political message.
The former governor also praised the leadership of the All Progressives Congress and called for party discipline and unity.
FCT coordinator Shittu Mohammed, speaking for North-Central coordinators, expressed support for Bello’s leadership and his role in mobilization.
The group’s activities form part of a wider network of pro-Tinubu organizations preparing for the 2027 campaign.
