The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has introduced an online system allowing 2026 admission candidates to verify and upload O Level results without visiting a Computer Based Test centre.
The service initially covers results issued by the West African Examinations Council.
JAMB said the system was designed to reduce queues, manual errors and the risk of fraudulent or unverified results.
Under the new arrangement, candidates’ results will be checked electronically against records held by the examination body before being uploaded to their JAMB profiles.
The board said the process would also reduce problems involving misplaced certificates or mistakes in manual entry of grades and subjects.
Candidates will first obtain a result verification code through the designated verification service.
Those using two O Level sittings can then log into their JAMB e Facility dashboard and select the 2026 UTME O Level Upload option.
After entering the verification code, the verified results will be displayed.
Candidates can then select the relevant subjects and apply them to their admission profile.
JAMB said candidates must select between five and nine subjects and cannot select the same subject more than once.
A notification will confirm successful upload.
The board said the online option would be particularly useful during periods when CBT centers were congested or affected by network difficulties.
JAMB described the initiative as part of a broader effort to reduce unnecessary physical visits and paperwork.
The board said it would continue strengthening integration with examination bodies and government agencies as more admission related services move online.
