Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Martins Iyeh, has become the first contestant to be evicted from the reality TV show after spending two weeks in the Big Brother house.

Martins’ eviction was announced by the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during Sunday’s live eviction show following the outcome of viewers’ votes among the nominated housemates.

The 30-year-old housemate’s departure brings his time on the popular reality show to an end and reduces the number of contestants remaining in the house to 24.

The latest edition of BBNaija, themed “Everything Is For The Taking” and also known as “Show Ya Sef,” is offering one of the biggest prize packages in the history of the reality show.

The eventual winner is expected to receive a grand prize worth ₦160 million, comprising ₦100 million in cash and a brand-new sport utility vehicle (SUV).

With Martins becoming the first housemate to leave the competition, the remaining contestants will continue their quest for the grand prize as the season progresses.
