Former Bayelsa State Governor, Henry Seriake Dickson, has called for unity among members and stakeholders of his political party as preparations intensify for the forthcoming elections.
Dickson disclosed this in a statement following a strategic meeting between the party’s national leadership and state chairmen from the North-West zone.
He described the North-West as a critical region in Nigeria’s political landscape, saying the meeting focused on preparations for the party’s campaigns and strategies to secure victory for its candidates.
According to him, the discussions were productive, with party leaders reviewing plans aimed at strengthening the party’s presence and electoral prospects across the region.
Dickson commended the North-West leaders, led by the party’s Vice-Presidential Candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, for their commitment and readiness to work towards the success of the party.
He expressed confidence that the party could achieve victory in the forthcoming elections if its members remained united and committed to the campaign.
“The discussions were fruitful, and we remain confident that victory is achievable,” Dickson said.
The former governor also urged party members, supporters and other stakeholders to put aside individual interests and work collectively towards achieving the party’s objectives.
He called for greater cooperation among the party’s structures across the country, stressing that unity would be crucial to securing victory for all its candidates in the upcoming elections.
