A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), sitting in Apo, Abuja, has ordered the final forfeiture of assets linked to businesswoman, Ms. Aisha Achimugu, to the Federal Government.

The assets forfeited include jewellery valued at N4.645 billion, 11 luxury vehicles worth N4.293 billion, $50,000 in cash, and N30 million.

Justice Jude Onwugbuzie issued the order on Thursday, July 16, 2026, while delivering judgment on an application filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) seeking the permanent forfeiture of the assets.

According to the anti-graft agency, the properties are linked to ongoing investigations and were subject to forfeiture proceedings before the court.

The forfeited assets comprise jewellery estimated at N4,645,170,294.09, eleven exotic vehicles valued at N4,293,000,000, $50,000 in United States currency, and N30 million in cash.

Justice Onwugbuzie held that the EFCC had satisfied the legal requirements for the grant of a final forfeiture order and consequently ordered that the assets be permanently forfeited to the Federal Government.

The ruling marks the conclusion of the forfeiture proceedings initiated by the EFCC against the assets allegedly linked to Achimugu. Further details of the court’s decision are expected to emerge.
