All Progressives Congress governorship candidate Bola Oyebamiji told traders at Sabo Market in Osogbo that they would become a key part of his government if elected, pledging good governance measures designed to enhance trade and commerce across the state.
Addressing market men and women who turned out to endorse him, Oyebamiji, a former state Commissioner for Finance, promised an insurance scheme for traders once his administration takes office and donated N10 million to the market, saying he had already discussed their needs directly with market leaders. He pledged to make soft loans available to market women and men, assuring them that their development, and the development of the marketplace itself, remains central to his campaign to govern Osun.
