Dangote Cement Plc has declared a record dividend of N753.8 billion for the 2025 financial year, representing a payout of N45 per ordinary share, a 50 per cent increase from the N30 per share distributed to shareholders in the previous year.
The company said the record dividend reflects its strong financial performance, resilient earnings and robust cash generation despite operating in a challenging business environment.
The increased payout underscores Dangote Cement’s commitment to delivering sustainable value to shareholders while maintaining its position as one of the leading dividend-paying companies on the Nigerian Exchange.
According to the company, it has paid out more than N3.3 trillion in dividends over the past 15 years, reinforcing its reputation as one of the Nigerian capital market’s most rewarding investments and a consistent creator of long-term shareholder value.
Dangote Cement also reaffirmed its commitment to driving industrial development across Africa while expanding its operations on the continent.
