Founder of Silverbird Group, Ben Murray-Bruce, has announced the appointment of Roy Murray-Bruce as the new Chairman of the company.
Ben Murray-Bruce disclosed the appointment in a statement on Wednesday, describing it as the beginning of a new chapter for the organisation after decades of growth across media, entertainment, hospitality, real estate and strategic business development in Africa and the United Kingdom.
According to him, Roy Murray-Bruce brings more than four decades of leadership, governance and management experience to the position.
He noted that Roy previously served as President of Silverbird Group and played a key role in the company’s expansion across television, radio broadcasting, cinemas, retail and property development.
Ben Murray-Bruce also credited the new chairman with contributing significantly to the introduction and growth of cineplex culture in Nigeria and other parts of West Africa.
Expressing confidence in the appointment, the former senator said the company would continue to pursue excellence, innovation and industry leadership under Roy Murray-Bruce’s guidance.
He added that the transition marks an important milestone in the continued growth and development of the Silverbird Group across Africa.
