Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to visit China from May 19 to 20 for talks aimed at strengthening ties between Moscow and Beijing.

The announcement was made on Saturday by the Kremlin, shortly after the recent visit of United States President Donald Trump to Beijing.

According to a statement from the Kremlin, Putin is expected to hold discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping on expanding “comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation” between both countries.

The visit is expected to focus on deepening bilateral relations across key areas, including economic cooperation, trade, energy, and geopolitical coordination.
