Former Lagos State governorship candidate of the Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has held a high-level meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Ota, Ogun State, to discuss pressing national issues, with a particular focus on Lagos.
Rhodes-Vivour described the meeting as insightful, noting that discussions centred on the country’s current challenges and the path toward sustainable development.
He commended Obasanjo’s enduring commitment to Nigeria, highlighting the former president’s depth of knowledge and experience in governance.
“His deep love for the country is unmistakable, and his intellect remains exceptional,” Rhodes-Vivour said after the meeting.
The former governorship candidate also expressed appreciation for the counsel and encouragement he received, describing it as invaluable.
